Fluid Dynamics Design is a Ventura-based performance sailing company built around one goal: helping you get the most out of your time on the water.

We started by taking on projects across the full range of sailing — from selling line to running world championship campaigns — with the guiding principle of providing the highest possible quality in every job we decided to do.

Today that same approach drives our growing focus on Evolution Sails, the world's leading independent sail loft, as their first USA West Coast dealer.

Sails are our core, but our expertise extends across every aspect of sailing. Custom line work, hardware, coaching, and campaign management all feed into one purpose: putting the right equipment and expertise behind every sailor we work with, whether you're cruising the Channel Islands or chasing a national title.

As authorized partners with Evolution Sails, Marlow, Harken, Wichard and Colligo, we supply and install the equipment we'd put on our own boats. Every sail, splice, and hardware recommendation is backed by real on-the-water experience across one-design, offshore, and keelboat racing at the national and international level.

As the sport evolves, so do we — now expanding into kiting, winging, and surfing.

We operate with a lean, hands-on approach that keeps us close to every project and client. We’re not a giant corporate structure, just people who know sailing deeply, care about the details, and are invested in your results.
