Long Point Race Week
Ruckus Racing
Just being a part of such a great event was a big win. Ruckus always does well on the Sunday race from Catalina to Newport and it was an awesome time with both boats cleaned up a bit and going strong all weekend.

Cal 20 The Kraken
2021 - We worked hard to teach our 15-year-old skipper how to properly prepare for a keelboat class championships: designed new sails, trained pre-starts against Frankie to dial in our communication, raced in warm-up events and taught Noah to reshape the keel, optimizing under class rules. We ended up match racing for the win in the second-to-last race trying to overcome a large point gap - which led to us losing 2nd on a tie break.
In 2023 we went into the event cold, focused on other projects, having not sailed the boat together since 2021, but the improvements to the boat were still there.
